BRIEF

MCPR delivered a high-impact PR campaign for National Geographic’s two-part Secrets of the Bees, launching the brand’s Earth Month activity. We secured high-profile interviews with Bertie Gregory and director James Cameron, positioning the series as a visually spectacular exploration of bees’ remarkable intelligence, behaviour and importance. To generate launch news, we commissioned research among 2,000 UK garden owners, sparking a national conversation about supporting bees, backed by practical advice from National Geographic Explorer and bee expert Dr. Rosa Vásquez Espinoza. In Manchester, we amplified the marketing team’s bee-friendly flowerbed at Heaton Park, generating national and regional attention and widespread broadcast, print and online coverage.
