UK Launch of WildEarth on Freeview
To launch WildEarth on Freeview Channel 91 in the UK, MCPR successfully executed a multifaceted PR campaign, targeting TV, media, and entertainment outlets. Our work involved creating a captivating press release for TV journalists, issuing it to our broad range of media contacts, introducing key messaging, and generating positive media coverage across consumer, TV listings, entertainment, and trade press. Additionally, we devised a compelling news story about WildEarth offering a cost-of-living-busting way for Brits to go on safari from the comfort of their own home, with a spokesperson quote that linked the channel to current news topics, fostering a deeper connection between viewers and wildlife. MCPR facilitated interviews with WildEarth's spokesperson, and through a widespread media sell-in, secured extensive coverage across various media outlets. Furthermore, we organised a press trip to South Africa for top-tier media to experience WildEarth's safari on the ground, in exchange for features coverage. We also achieved widespread success by placing exciting unseen nature clips from WildEarth's live-streamed safaris, resulting in multiple stories running on MailOnline, Sun Online, Mirror Online, Metro Online, Daily Star Online, Daily Express Online, MSN News, Yahoo! News, and many other prominent news platforms.
